Gord
joined Graves•Richard•Harris LLP in June, 2004 after
returning from Edmonton, Alberta, where he practiced
with the firm of Duncan & Craig LLP for almost
7 years, enjoying a litigation practice with a primary
focus on personal injury and aboriginal litigation.
Gord Harris was born and raised in Waterloo, Ontario
and obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from Wilfrid
Laurier University in 1993. He then travelled west
to obtain both his Bachelor of Laws and Masters
of Business Administration from the University of
Alberta, in Edmonton. While attending the University
of Alberta, Gord was heavily involved in student
organizations, and in particular, Student Legal
Services of Edmonton, where he was able to gain
Provincial Court trial experience as early as 1994.
He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1998.
Gord and his wife were thrilled to move back to
Ontario in 2004, when he joined the firm to focus
solely on assisting personal injury victims. They
have enjoyed all that the Niagara Region has to
offer, with their growing family. Along with spending
time with his wife and doting on his two young daughters,
Gord has become involved in numerous community organizations,
and has resumed both playing and coaching baseball,
which he has fanatically enjoyed since age 4
